Suspect Direct TV reprogramming problem
by: Anonymous

Similar happened to me. A Direct TV rep came out to rewire a set which had the links messed up. Prior to his visit, I could move the receiver to a location more than 50 miles away and it would work.

After his visit, I could not do this anymore. He must have reprogrammed the Direct TV receiver somehow. Is this an upgrade to the programming dish network recently did?

Any way to override this change?
