Adding direct tv receivers

by Darryl
(lafayette,louisiana,usa)

hello, my question concerns adding Direct TV receivers from ebay; to bypass the extra charges they want to impose if i go through them and buy extra receivers will they turn them on or am I wasting more money by buying them out of pocket?

Terrence Comment: Hi Darryl, it depends you views it from which angle.

1. Do you know how to install the additional Direct TV receiver by yourself from ebay?

2. I think you need Direct TV management to set their system for you to have 2 receivers on 2 TVs in order to view different channel at the same time.. Or else it is no point to have 2 receivers, 2 TV that watching the same show at the same time? ( Unless one is prefer to watch in living room, the other want to watch in his bedroom - and both are watch same Direct TV channel at same time )

3. I think Direct TV do not charge you on add another receiver into your house, it allow you up to 4 tv in the same house with no extra charges... But it is better for you to call them to confirm :)
