Bad Direct TV Service

Why does it take close to 3 weeks for a technician to come to the home for service?

My TV has been showing "Searching for Satellite" since 2/09/09. My scheduled appt is for 2/26/09.

This type of service is unacceptable & has me seriously thinking of changing companies,
