Bad Direct TV Services

by Jim McLaren
(Concord NC)

In September of 2008:

We had service for about 10 days. Some roofers took off satellite dish to do their job. Direct TV said, "It will take about 30 days to re-install".

I asked why would it take so long. Answer, "We are busy getting service up to the hurricane Katrina victims".

I almost laughed and told who ever it was that we will find a new company. That was the worst customer service lie I have ever heard told.

And it was to me! But to add injury to insult, Direct TV laid an "early cancellation" fee on me.

I then get billed $389.86 even after one of Direct TV representative told me:" You haven't even had service long enough from them to charge you a cancellation fee. You shouldn't have this".

Well, even if it we did have it long enough, Direct TV representative flat out lied about why it would take a month to get the dish network reinstalled.
