Beware, Just Say No to Direct TV !

by Jay Bretzmann
(Chapel Hill, NC)

So after sticking with Direct TV for 30 or so months, we're ready to go back to cable service, only to find out that Direct TV is telling us because we added a box - ourselves purchased at Best Buy - we reset our two year contract.

Also, when they retrieve the equipment, we need to give them the box we bought. Neither of these issues/policies were adequately explained to us.

Altogether, we think the Direct TV customer experience is really bad. Why you would try to screw your customers like?! This is beyond me.

Guess I'll have to do a few more posts, but really seems like I'm not alone.
