Comments from a retired engineer

I lasted 8 days with Direct TV. The problem: The 'on screen' Guide has such tiny letters that it actually gave me a headache..scrolling was impossile.

I wear corrective lenses but still have trouble with small print. The guide screen is shortened because almost half the screen is taked up with the "current program box' and open space.

I called their customer service explaining my problem..they couldn't help me so I elected to drop service..they claim a $360 cancellation fee which I reject out of hand..my card company will back me up.

Older people with vision issues should think twice before subscribing to Direct TV. I'd suggest Dish TV or Cable.
