1. Dish Network

2. Direct TV

Both of them are using Satellite TV Dish to receive Satellite TV signals and convert the signals by using Satellite TV Receiver.

In fact, both of them are offering very similar offer, both of them are requiring you to bond 2 years contract with them no matter which Satellite TV packages you took from them. Direct TV system

If you decide to cancel their service in less than 24 months, you will be charged for early termination fees. Direct TV will charge you USD 20 / month, and Dish Network will charge USD 17.50 / month, multiply the balance of months before the contract period end.

Do not be surprise that you will be charged few hundred dollars on the penalty fees alone. Please be stay alert that all the Direct TV or dish Network equipment that installed in your house, is not your property, all these equipment is just leased to you.

You will need to return these equipment if you are cancel their service in the future. And again, if you do not return their equipment, they will charge you all the equipment cost.
