DIRECTV offers many convenient payment options to their customers to pay their bills:

1. You can mail in your payment in check to your Direct TV company. This method is not recommended. You may expose to the risk of check lost. For your information, Direct TV company will charge you penalty for late payment.

You think that you had made your payment on time whereby your check had lost! Of course, the penalty for late charges cost you not much, just a few dollar a month, but why pays? :)

Besides, you need to pay for the check you issue out, and you may totally forget about the Bill Payment! (Don’t laugh, it happens to some busy residents :P )

2. There are also many present Direct TV subscribers use automatic payment service. You can pay your Direct TV Bills by automatically deducts from your checking account each month, or charge your credit card. Myself personally prefer this method :) It saves your time and efforts from issue check and throw your check into mailbox. Just take a look on your bank statement or credit card statement to make sure the charged amount is correct :P

DIRECTV is currently working on an online enhancement that will allow their customers to view and pay their bill online.

When the online billing system is ready, DIRECTV will let you know with information in your bill, on Channel 201 (Customer News from DIRECTV) and online.

As for me, online payment not much different from mail in payment, just to get rid off check lost possibility. You still need to go online to done this manually, why not just leave it to the automatic payment service? It is awesome!
