Direct TV offer both standard channels and HD channels to all their customers. You can taking their HD packages by paying extra USD 10 / month from the standard programming for 1st set of your TV in your house.
If you wish to have more TV sets in your house to view Direct TV program, then you will required to pay higher monthly equipment leasing cost for each of the receiver added.
Direct TV will maximum allow you to have 4 TV sets in your house that able to watch Direct TV program. Both standard programming and HD programming are using the same channel numbers, depend on which package you are subscribing to :) You will need to have a set of HDTV that work with Direct TV HD Receiver in order to view Direct TV HD programming.
