Direct TV DVR Enquiry

by Kelly
(USA)

I thought I read somewhere that once a show was recorded on a Direct TV HD DVR, it could be played back on other sets in the house.

I have only one HD-DVR, a second set has HD, a third set Standard-Def. Is it possible to view a recorded program on one or both of these other sets?

Or am I mixing this up with Dish TV?

Thank you.

Terrence Comment: Hi Kelly, you can imagine that record a show in your DVR is some sort like save the movie file into the hard disk and play it again and again if you like..

But so far I had never heard of any technology to transfer the movie file from one DVR to another yet.. Anyone here can share with me if you know?

Thanks.
