Direct TV is Crooked!

by Karen Powell
(Madera, CA)

Lost home due to divorce so canceled my Direct TV service. Returned receivers in box (with postal stickers they provided) and also included my return mail address on the package.

Then Direct TV sends me a $190 billing for receivers they advised I never returned. I hand walked the package into the US post office so I know it was mailed.

When I called Direct TV and asked why I got the bill when the receivers had been returned. They told me all their customers that had returned receivers said the same thing, that they had returned the receivers.

I advised I had even written a return address on the package just in case there was a problem. I know if there was a problem with the mail I would get the package back.

I never did so I know Direct TV got their receivers back. And yet they say I have to pay for the receivers any way! I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau!

Makes me think that Direct TV is crooked! " Don't ever get Direct TV" is what I will tell everyone I know now because of this crooked occurrence!!
