Direct TV is unreliable and irresponsible for its mistakes

We have had Direct TV for about 8 years now. Six months ago a Cantonese Direct TV telemarketer called and told us that we could get the same channels for $21 each month instead of $49.
We believed them and they canceled our account to start a new one. When the bill came in the next month it said we had to pay $49, so we called in to ask why and they told us that the bill was typed wrong and we only have to pay $21.
We payed $21 for 5 months until they finally cut our Direct TV services. We called to ask why and they said that someone had been paying the remaining amount of the bill with their credit card.
The credit card did not work but Direct TV would not track down where this card was coming from, as it was not ours.
We called in to customer service four times and each time they apologized for the incorrect information fed to us by their telemarketer.
They said that they would escalate the situation to their supervisor but nothing was done. They did not even give us credit back for the week of service we lost due to this lying Direct TV telemarketer..
