I signed up with direct tv almost 8 years ago. I was signed a two year contract, which told by them that after the two years was up all the Direct TV Equipment was mine.
I had just upgraded to hd, then I had signed another contract, finished it. It got to the point every time the wind would blow or rain i would loose my tv picture.
I called Direct TV representative to come out and fix it, direct tv want me to pay for a service call..
Now that i quiet, then they want their stuff back. I called them and they told me that after 2006 no one owns the hardware, its all leased.
I was never told that and now they want to charge me 125.00 for the receiver. Direct tv does not tell the whole truth! There service sucks! I am done for their so call service!
