After the HU card, the P4 card is the next generation of Access Cards issued by DirecTV. All DirecTV customers with active, legitimate accounts in 2003 were sent a P4 card, but in mid-switch, DirecTV upgraded to the P5 card instead and decided to eliminate the P4 card entirely. Once programming becomes available, P4 card will be able to receive all available channels including all PPV, all sports and all adult channels that are broadcast.
