Direct TV P4 Card

After the HU card, the P4 card is the next generation of Access Cards issued by DirecTV. All DirecTV customers with active, legitimate accounts in 2003 were sent a P4 card, but in mid-switch, DirecTV upgraded to the P5 card instead and decided to eliminate the P4 card entirely. At this time there is no programming available for P4 cards. Any card that you purchase at this time will only receive channel 100 (and any other free Direct TV channels). All P4 cards are virgins (since no programming is available for P4 cards, there is no such thing yet as a previously-programmed card) and will receive channel 100 when inserted in your receiver. P4 cards are backwards compatible and will work on all generations of receivers, no matter how old they are. Once programming becomes available, P4 card will be able to receive all available channels including all PPV, all sports and all adult channels that are broadcast.
