Direct TV Recording Enquiry

I have Direct TV DVR and have had no problems with it until recently. It will record all of my shows except for just one! It's the same show everyday. For it to actually record I either have to watch it or press the record button twice. (There are no other shows recording at the same time) When I go to it it says it's recording with the red R on it; but afterward i willl go on my list and it wont be there!!!) PLEASE HELP!!
