Direct TV Remote Control Code

Is there a way to set a code on the remote control so that no one can make changes to the tv or remote settings, unless they first enter in the code?

Terrence Comment: So far I haven't experienced with the Direct TV Remotes with such features, you may jot down your Remote model and check the manufacturer on this feature.
