Direct TV Remote Control Not Work
" Check out the Easy Solution for you in No Time! "
Your Direct TV Remote Control Not Work at all, or it only does some functions but not others? Or it operates other devices, but not your Direct TV Receiver? Possible Causes:
That might be weak batteries in your remote control. Batteries aren't placed correctly. Something is blocking the sensor on the front of your devices. Faulty remote. Solution: 1. Make sure your TV is tuned to the proper channel, which is usually channel 3 or 4. Then press the button on the remote control marked DSS, SAT or Direct TV, and try the remote again. 2. Point your remote at your receiver and press "On" or "Power." Make sure nothing is blocking the front of your Direct TV Receiver 3. Try operating your Direct TV Receiver by using the buttons on the front of the receiver itself. You can turn it on or off, change channels, and bring up the menus. If those controls work, the problem is with your remote, not with the receiver. 4. Put new batteries in your remote. Go ahead, even if you're not convinced. You could even "borrow" batteries you know to be good from some other item, just as a test. Once the batteries are changed, you may need to reprogram your remote to operate your other electronic devices. In an effort to avoid this step, change the batteries one at a time. I believe that our Verizon Direct TV Tips will be useful to you as well :)
