I have 64R remote but have to use my visio remote to control on/off & volume what do I have to do to control all functions with the direct remote? Some of the models and brands of Direct TV receiver is coming with the universal remote by itself and some it's not.. You will need to check out your receiver brand and find the details out from our Direct TV Sitesearch Page Here If you are still unable to get what you want, try to talk to the electronic store retailer nearby, they can surely fix it up for you :) You will also need to jot down the brand and models for the unit you want to use with the universal remote control such as your TV set, receiver, DVD unit and VCR unit for your electronic store retailer to help you up easier..
