Direct TV remote troubles

I changed the batteries in my direct tv remote (RC64) and now my guide, menu, mute, and volume buttons no longer work... I can turn my tv (RCA) on and off with the remote and I can change the channels using the CHAN/PAGE button I have searched every where to find an answer to my problem and EVERYTHING I see says to use the menu button (which isn't working for me) What is another option? Terrence Comment: I believe that it is certain keypad of your remote is no longer functioning, you shall take your remote for repair. Hope it helps.
