Direct tv... run the other way...FAST!!

When I signed up for Direct TV, the salesman said he'd throw in the NFL ticket for free. Then last February I had a hand accident and was unable to use my computer to view e-mails or do any typing.
We began getting bills stating we were late on our payments and behind. The first 2 months I paid them $ 70.00 each time thinking I had been behind because of the drugs I was on.
My wife paid them the third month. The forth month, my bill was still $70.00. When I asked why it was so much, they informed me it was because I had signed up for the NFL ticket.
I explained the situation and they informed me that a notice was sent via E-mail to me. ( They obviously could call for payments, but not to make a bogus bill)
They said they were sorry about my accident but that the payments were over half paid and they could only stop and refund payments at the beginning.
Now after 18 months, one of our boxes stopped working and they informed me they could replace it ....but there was a $19.95 shipping and handling charge..
BE CAREFUL...They claim to be a customer service leader...
This isn't customer service or caring for the customer in any way..
I went back to cable..
