Direct TV system on RV

by Ted
(fordland, mo, usa)

I have direct tv at my home, i want to take a receiver with me on vacation and additional dish to watch in my rv.

My question is, will the family left at home still be able to watch tv and what they want if we hook up one of the receivers to the additional dish out of state?
