Basically there are few common problems that happen on Direct TV System:No Reception: First, check the cable from your Direct TV Dish to your receiver. Check to make sure all connection cables and connectors are in place. ( Make sure that the cables didn't have cuts; some time the cables might damaged bitten by rats. ) Then, climb up to your roof to check your dish. Make sure the LNB and Dish look solid. If non of them look defective, then you will need to check your Direct TV Receiver. How to check? Simple :) Unplug your Receiver and bring to your friend house that have Direct TV system; and test your receiver there :) Intermittent signal - Signals cut in and out : First of all, check to see whether your dish was loosen. If the dish seem ok, try to replace the cable ends. If your problem haven't solve yet, try to replace a new LNB. IF you have done all this and yet your problem remain, its the time to change your receiver now :) Missing Channels: Most of the time, the missing channels arising due to damaged cable or LNB. If all this works, then you shall call up Direct TV customer service and ask them to send you another Signal Hit with the proper Signal code. Check out our
