If you really spare some time to compare both of them, you may find out that both of them are offering very similar offers to their customers.

Well, they are offering free satellite tv equipment and free standard installation to their customers. Satellite TV Equipment will be inclusive of Satellite Dish, Satellite receiver, remote control for the receiver, access card and also all the connection cable to connect the whole Satellite TV system.

Both of them are required you to sign up a 24 months contract with them no matter which package you take from them.

But, Direct TV will imposed early termination fees of USD 20.00 / month x balance of months before the contract ended, and dish network will charge you USD 17.50 / month.

Besides, Direct TV is a bit not genuine that to show their monthly price that after rebate.

But the rebate is not compulsory, Direct TV may ignore your rebate submission form and tell you they never received it, or said that your rebate form submission date was expired, or they can just reject your rebate request whenever they like.

Whereby, dish network discount is automatically credited back to your first month bill, you no need to do anything, and it is 100% approved and auto generated, which I think is more genuine.

Even though you compare the Direct TV price after rebate and Dish network price after discount, it is still dish network that charge you lower price.

Do not forget to compare the DirecTV Dish Network monthly price after rebate, since Direct TV rebate will only valid for the first 12 months, and you will at least need to subscribe to Direct TV program for 24 months, which i think discrepancy in price after the rebate period will be even bigger..
