For your information, Direct TV package has come with free standard equipment that inclusive of Direct TV Dish, Direct TV Receiver, Remote Control, Direct TV access card and necessary cables to connect the whole Direct TV System. They will even send you a installer to install all the equipment for new customers without any additional charges on standard installation. You can try to save your equipment protection fees by only activate the protection plan when your Direct TV Equipment went wrong, and deactivated it when it had been fully repaired, since there are no commitment on how many months to take their equipment protection plan.
