DirecTV HU Card
"Looking for Easy To Follow Guide for DirecTV HU Card?"
Have you heard Direct TV HU Card before? From the information I gathered, it is currently the only choice in Direct TV cards. It is a 32 Bit Access Card and also known as the P3 card or Football card. There are many different ways of programming and testing with this Card. Multiple different test devices are available for this card. This card was a last minute substitution for the J card that DIRECTV had originally planned on issuing as a replacement for the much-compromised H cards. HU Card able to pick both digital TV signal and analog signal, it means that it can use for transmitting Direct TV HD programming. Whereby, the J card will only able to encryted and transmit the Direct TV standard programming signals. The HU card serial number is starting from 0001 7400 0000, so when you chose your HU card from retailer, make sure that the serial number for the HU card you picked shall be greater than this number. It is very important to confirm with your retailer that the HU card you purchased able to pick up universal satellite signal instead of only able to pick up specified receiver signals. ( So that you no need to replace your HU card whenever you want to change your receiver ) The security weaknesses were discovered in the prototype 3 cards so that this card was developed and issued instead. For my understanding that the most notable differences between the H and HU card is that the HUs contain dual ASICs and come from the factory with dynamic code writing capability.
