Direct TV system is a famous satellite tv provider in United States. It has more than 18 million customers and its service coverage area nearly to whole United States.

Direct TV programming package can basically devide into 2 types: standard programming and HD Programming. No matter which package you take, your package will include all local channels, free standard installation and no charges on all equipment provided.

Free standard installation means the cable distance between your receiver and Direct TV Dish shall not more than 125 feet length. If the cable length exceed, than you will need to pay for the extra length.

There are also no activation cost or setup cost; you just need to pay your monthly subscription fees. However, the equipment that installed in your house will still belong to Direct TV; if you cancel their service in future, they will collect back all their equipments.

If the equipments are not working when they are still with you; you will need to pay for replacement; and the new replacement will still belong to Direct TV.

Besides, you are signing a 2 years contract with Direct TV once you take their package; if you cancel their service before the contract end.. then they will imposed penalty charges on you, usually within USD 200.00 to USD 500.00
