All right, let me share with you on what I have :)

There are several type of Remote that commonly found in the market: -

1. Blue Remote

2. Big button Remote

3. RC16

4. RC32

5. RC32RF

6. RC64

7. RC64R

8. RC64RB

9. SatGo

Well, it is impossible for me to share you in details on each type of Direct TV Remote, ( I am not doctor of remote ) but I ll try to share with you the general knowledge of the remotes. First, if your remote that works all the while suddenly cannot work; most of the time is because your Remote is out of battery. Try to refill it with a new battery and try again :)

Secondly, if your remote control works with your DirecTV Receiver, but not your TV or VCR. What shall you do?

You need to program your remote to operate those devices. Refer to your remote control manual for more information. ( Remember, never ever throw away your Remotes manual; you can't remember each and every steps and you need to use it someday - just like dictionery; we unable to memmorize the whole contents in the dictionery, right? :)
