" Well, I have read some articles from the internet that they are able to upgrade your present set of Tivo on hand without paying more money. Some website even selling Tivo upgrade kits for you to upgrade your Tivo machine. However, most upgrade here will means add another hard disk to increase it storage space. Well, I ll say that it is not worth to do such upgrade. No matter how cheap is the upgrade kit, and how good they are able to promise you; you are voiding your Tivo warranty and risk your Tivo in unable to working in future! Just adding a hard drive to increase the storage space, and the risk to take is whole Tivo set damage; does it worth? I ll say not. Some folks are charging you different price base on the storage size you want to upgrade, higher storage space will of course charge you higher fees.
