Do not Join Direct TV

In October and November I got at least 1/2 dozen letters asking me to come back as a Direct TV customer for a really good price.

After talking to two sales people I decided to go ahead and sign up for the deal. I was give a rebate number to call so I would have it at the time of installation.

I also gave them $19.95 for postage on my equip.
Well here's the catch. The rebate number didn't work, tried at least 3 times and got a weird recording.

When I called back I was told that I was only qualified for a $10 discount for 10 months. This was not even close to the deal I was quoted.

After talking to a manager I cancelled the deal and asked for my money back. Turns out they not only charged my card for the delivery costs but for a piece of equipment.

They told me it would take 6 weeks to get the money back. Its been over 2 months now, with several calls to their customer service and I have yet to see any of my money.

Don't Trust Them and do not authorize them to use your credit card for any monies.
