Horrible Service, Nasty, nasty customer service representatives, horrible billing. Have to deal with Qwest and Direct TV and they have no idea what the other one is doing. Switched to Comcast - THANK GOODNESS. WILL NEVER USE DIRECT TV OR QWEST - EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I moved from Arvada Colorado to Westminster. My new apartment faces east, so the installed Direct TV dish was not going to work, i went to cancel my contract.
Direct TV wanted to charge me 240.00, because my contract is not up untill 2009. They told me I can dispute my claim to the company.
But seriously, they can not supply me cable, so where is the dispute? I would continue to use them but they are the ones who can not uphold their end of the deal, not me.
Plus, on my first installation of Direct TV Equipment, I had to file charges against the intaller because he felt he had to talk me after being in my apartment. Maybe they would have let me out of my contract then? What kind of employees do they hire?
Don't sign anything with them, don't use their services.

Direct TV took $271 from my checking account without permission, told me I now owned my equipment, but shut off their service. Now what do I do with this equipment???
