I am very disapointed in Don Draper and Roger Sterling. Today I called for information on Direct TV, and the poor clerk could only parrot the information she is told to give out.
The bottom line was, in order to take advantage of the offers, I had to sign up ''right now!''. When I repeated my desire only for information, which the clerk was to send to my email, she had to inform me that the discounts do not apply to anyone who does not sign up now as we spoke.
My response was appreciation for her job, but ''No thank you. I do not deal with any such high pressure sales tactics nor business that uses them. What a shame, Don and Roger. Shame on you both. America is not stupid.
