Frustrated with Direct TV System

Get this... "the system" tells them the equipment needed for installation. Never mind, the configuration of the house. I am glad "the system" knows all!
I called the installation tech to let him know I needed a SWM because of my home configuration and inability to run a 2nd cable line (first scheduled tech said the same thing).
He said he could not order a SWM because he is just given the work order for installation. So I called customer service and they said they could not order a SWM because it is not part of the installation they can order.
I asked "who can order a SWM?" I was told no one because "the system" knows what is needed for each installation.
Who is responsible for "the system?" That is a group of technical engineers that designed the system and there is no way to contact them.
I give up. I think I will stay with Cable TV!! It just reached the point of too hard. Thanks Direct TV!
