As you know, to have HD Direct TV channels, you need to subscribe into Direct TV HD Programming. To get their HD programming package, the minimum package is the USD 52.99 / month. You need to sign up a 2 years contract with them once you take their package. Or else, you will be imposed penalty fees by them, usually is within USD 200.00 - USD 500.00 If you take their USD 52.99 / package, you will get 150 channels inclusive of local channels and you can enjoy first 12 month with lower monthly subscription fees of USD 34.99. Beside, you will need to pay another USD 9.99 / month for HD access. You will be given a set of HD Receiver in order to watch your HD programming, Direct TV Dish, remote control for your receiver and all necessary connection cables and connectors. Well, all this equipment is belong to Direct TV, if any part of the equipment went wrong, you will need to pay back Direct TV in higher price. ( They will charge some admin fees on top of equipment price alone ) And yet, the newly purchase equipment is belong to Direct TV, not you. If you cancel their service in future, then Direct TV will collect back all these equipments. Besides, to have real HD effects, High Definition Direct TV programming + HD Receiver is not good enough, you need to have a set of HDTV and HDMI cable that connect from your receiver to your TV set to give you "Full HD" Effects :) And these equipment is not provided by Direct TV; you shall buy these equipment before order your HD programming; or else, it will be a bit waste by paying HD programming and not getting HD effects :) Check out our
