Horrible Direct TV Service - Never should have signed up

Simple. On the phone we were told we would pay a certain amount per month, taxes included, and our bill is higher than what we were told.
I asked for them to fix this problem and they refuse because the representative that assisted us never wrote down the adjustment.
Now we can either continue to pay the higher amount till March 2011 or pay $430 to cancel even though this is not the amount we agreed to pay.
I should have stayed with Time Warner.
