How do I get my direct tv on my laptop while traveling without additional cost?

by Ann
(live in Arizona, work all over the U.S.)

I have a current Direct tv account at my home but I travel extensively. I am often in time zones different than at my home and would really like to watch what I do at home in my own time zone on my laptop while away.

I found out recently that I can go to the CNN.com web site and access live cnn streaming by signing into my Direct tv account on the CNN website.

I really like this feature because I get live tv from my home time zone and all through my Direct tv account.

However, it is not feasible to do this on each channel's site. I would think this should be possible though my current Direct tv account but I can't find any information on this.

When searching Direct tv's site all I can find is a sales pitch on spending more money buying more of their equipment for travelers.

I know this should be possible because I can do it for CNN so, my question is, do they offer access to live tv online using your existing Direct tv account on a laptop while away from home?
