My DVD set cannot get it off from Direct TV

My DVD player plays in the background but does not play on the tv screen..

I can't get it off the Direct TV program and play the DVD..this problem just started recently..thanks

Terrence Comment: If you can hear the background sound of your DVD but do not see any picture on your TV screen, i think most probably is the video cable that connect between your TV and your DVD had been lose.

I suggest you to fix it tighter at the connection plug at the back panel at both of your TV and your DVD set and see?
