Need help on my Direct TV Dish

by Carlos
(LA, United States)

I have a 10 year old Direct TV Dish will the new non HD receiver works on it?

Terrence Comment: Hi Carlos, I am not a technical guy as well. But here are some of my suggestion that you can consider of:-

1. Do you still have your dish specification with you? or model number? If you don't, just climb up to your roof top and look at your dish, you shall able to find your model number of your dish, then key in the dish model number to our Direct TV Site Search to find out the information on this dish and the receiver that your dish can attach with; then go for these receiver models.

If you still unable to find the receiver that attached with the model of your dish, you can write down the model number and seek help from your electrical shop nearby that selling Direct TV Receiver. They are very familiar with these knowledge :)

2. But before you doing that, you will need to ensure that your Direct TV Dish are still working.

Besides, if the dish model was too old, and you might unable to find the receiver that works with this model of Direct TV Dish.. The you will need to buy both of the Dish and receiver that works on each other together, which you can easily get these information on your electrical shop nearby.

Hope it helps :)
