Direct TV system is the famous satellite TV provider in United States since 2002. When you order Direct TV package, Direct TV will provide you full set of Direct TV equipment that inclusive of Direct TV Dish, Direct TV Receiver, Remote Control and all necessary connection cables.

They will provide you different equipment depend on what package you order. If you order the standard programming, then they will send you the basic Equipment. If you order more channels or better still, HD Programming, then they will provide you HD Receiver or even provide you advance receiver with DVR features that allow you to record, rewind, replay, pause of Live TV.

Of course, this is their strategy to encourage their customers to take more expensive package by given more advance equipment. They may give you any brand of equipment that stay with their stock, Philips, Samsung, RCA.. they do not really that particular on a single brand.
