Remote Control Only Operate Direct TV Receiver

" Looking for Easy Solution for your Remote Control Only Operate Direct TV Receiver? "

Your remote control only operates your DirecTV Receiver, but nothing else (like your TV, VCR or DVD player)?

Possible Causes:

Your remote control isn't set to the correct mode — TV, VCR, DVD, etc.

Your remote control isn't programmed to control the other devices.

Your remote control was programmed, but it lost its programming.

Solution:

With a universal remote control, you need to first press the button on the remote that corresponds to the device you are trying to operate — TV, VCR or DVD.

To program your remote control, go to your Direct TV System owner's manual and find the brand of your Direct TV System and remote control. You may need to enter special codes, but you'll find links to that information there.

You'll also find a helpful remote control user guide. If you can't find your exact model number, choose a similar model for the same brand as your system.

HINT: When your remote is programmed, write down the code(s) and instructions.

I believe that our Verizon Direct TV Tips will be useful to you as well :)
