Same Directv Receiver Usage in Two States

by Bill
(Cape Coral, FL)

I live in Florida. Can I take my Direct TV Receiver with me to my second home which is located in New York State and use it for part of the year?

Terrence Comment: Yes, you can do so. There are few points you may need to consider of:

1. Will your 2nd home receive clear satellite tv signals as your first home? Even the answer is not, you will still need to keep your Direct TV system until contract period end.

2. You shall check with the Direct TV customer service on how to uninstall the Direct TV system in your first home and reinstall it back on your 2nd home.

Of course there will be some charges from Direct TV if they do these jobs for you.

Hope these information helps.
