Seething Direct TV Customer
I am outraged! I sat all day yesterday to have installation done and the technician showed up at 3:45pm.
He did nothing and 5 minutes later said his cell battery was dying and had to go to the store to get another so he would be right back...
He never came back! I spent hours on the phone with customer service last night and this morning after they told me they would have another tech come out today and just found out they cant come till Monday the 20th!
I have an 5 year old autistic child that I need to have occupied while moving on Sunday and purposely scheduled this in advance so that we could effectively move without her being in danger of the moving process.
There is no day care available for her on Sundays. Now we are really in a jam. I missed an entire day of work yesterday and wasted 7 hours sitting in an empty house.
I have been a customer with Direct TV for nearly a decade and have always scheduled my installs in advance of the move date.
This is ludicrous on all levels. The customer service and the policies have changed multiple times in the last 24 hours and I have been given several different stories!
I would cancel but now have a 2 year contract with them. I am tempted to let them just report to my credit and go with TW instead....very unsatisfactory results here.
If I do get TW to install today I am going to do that. I will NEVER have Direct TV again!
