I wish to share with you some basic guide on the Sony SAT-W60-SM Model and Sony SAT-W60 Model. You can only get standard programming for both of this model, not HD programming. However, both of them are integrated with DVR features that allow you to pause, rewind, replay ( even in slow motion ) and record of your favorite programming. When you have remote control on hand, select "Guide" allows you to browse through channels. It displays currently running programs and channels. Also the timings and channels of upcoming programs. Besides, you can remove the unwanted channels from program guide. Just go in settings. Select channels and un-check unwanted channels. You can also create your favorite channel lists. If you want to do the program search, select the search TV and view program guide. This will display categories such as movies, sports or series. Select any one and add channels. Search TV provides option to search the program guide. You can search by name, title or category. To set parental control, you can see that the settings window shows locks and limits feature. By this feature you can password protect the programming. You can block a complete channel or limited time programming. You can also associate password with your receiver.
