Spilt Water Problem on my Direct TV Receiver.

I spilt water all over my Direct TV Receiver and now it won't turn on. When I spilt the water the box shut off and i unplugged it and re plugged it and it made a hissing noise and i unplugged it again i waited for the water to dry but it still wont work. The light doesn't even turn on.. Terrence Comment: Well, when you spilt the water to your direct tv receiver, you shall shut it off, open up your direct tv receiver and clean it off to ensure whole machine is dry. The water will cause your direct tv receiver to short circuit and cause the internal electrical components to be damaged.. Nothing much you can do except send it to a repair man to repair for you. Remember to clean off your machine first to make sure it dry before connect it to the power supply if same situation happen again. Hope it helps.
