Switch Direct TV Ownership to New Address

by Annoymous
(USA)

If my friend has a direct tv receiver and he is not using and it is activated. Is it legal to hook it up at my house if i have a dish?

Terrence Comment: I think it is not legal, the logic is that I believe Direct TV will not just simply allow their customers to switch their system to whoever they like..

It will be good to check with Direct TV first whether they allow you or not before you do so.
