They got me and I wasn't even a Direct TV customer

Did you know that if you let someone use your credit card or debit card to pay their bill to Direct TV and this person doesn't pay the bill, Direct TV will deduct the fee's from your account (if it is a debit or charge of your credit card) without letting you know a thing, even if the card has not been used on the account in months. And when the equipment gets returned, you still won't get your money back because it seems that there is a fee of over $300.00 for an early termination fee, and apparently it doesn't matter if you don't have the same last name as the person who does have the account or the same address. It has been my unfortunate experience to learn this first hand. Complaining to Direct TV's e-mail address will only get a person from the e-mail department acting as if they are the big wig's of the company and apparently they don't communicate even among themselves. I say this because in the course of one day I had three separate calls spaced throughout the day from three separate individuals and all of them said the same thing. I also found out that the so called "this may be recorded for quality purposes" is a phony, somebody forgets to push the button. The e-mail individual told me this himself. They do try to blow your hopes up though after a complaint, just to let you know that their "finance department" had made the decision not to let you have your money back. It is one thing after another with this company: (LIE # 1) I was told in an e-mail that if your name on the account and the name on the card are not the same and the addresses are different as well, then I would get my money back, NOT TRUE! (LIE #2 )If the card on the account has not been used in 90 days, then you will get your money back.NOT TRUE! Truth is that if the person that you allow to use your card doesn't take your card off the account it gives Direct TV the right to identify theft that card and collect their money any way they like, and with what-ever charges they can dream up. I will never have Direct TV in my name, this company should be reported to the Better Business Bureau for shady business practices and shouldn't be allowed to do any kind of business with the public in any way,shape or form!
