Uh, we cannot find you in our system, And you have an Order?!

We have gone thru a real preliminary saga with Direct TV. We ordered online 22 Feb, it is now 18 March and we had not heard a word. Anu indication of the future?
This evening I call the 800# that was on my Print Out showing my Order # and stating they have the equipment reserved, blah, blah..
The first lady said "oh well, and let me look it up" - yes sir, but oh now it is $34.99 instead of the $29.99 - can't be helped!!!
I had to hang up I was so blown away by the disregard for their quoted price being a passing fancy and their irresponsible manner of never contacting us.
Wife calls back and works thru the system (order pecking order) and finally arranges for them to honor their initial quote....so we will see. I am really concerned that if this is the preliminary, heavens knows what else will pop-up..
When the Installer shows up Friday will be met with caution....before any work, what equipment they have for US, what Program Package, and a review of whatever cost.
So help me, if it isn't right....I'll stay with Cable, I don't particularly like, but beats the hassle to date.
