Unhappy with Direct TV PPV and customer service.

I ordered a pay per view event, "last cowboy standing." on 04-10-11. My guests and I gathered around the Tv waiting for it to start (I had received a confirmation on 4-10-11) nothing happened!
After a few minutes I called and was told it had been canceled!! I HAD NOT canceled; after 15 minutes or so the young lady that was assisting me finally got me connected.
Her name was Michelle, and she was as helpful as one might expect, but not too qualified so I asked to speak to a supervisor.
I was connected to Patrick, employee # 414037. NOT helpful at all and definitely not service oriented!
It was a very useless and unproductive conversation. We went on to watch the program; it started 25 minutes late. Actually a little before, yet I missed 25 minutes battling with Patrick.
I settled down and figured I might be able to watch the 25 minutes I had lost the next morning; JOKE! It was turned off and I called again only to be told I only had access to the live event!
I couldn't see what I had missed because of Direct TV cancellation. Goes without saying, I am quite angry and very unhappy with Direct tv service.
The young lady who assisted me Sunday AM was Andie; she did what she could; offered me free showtime; not what I wanted or expected.
I am NOT placated; I will be very unlikely to order another event from Direct TV. I would rather not see something than go through the run around that I got.
