What an experience - please bear with me I will try to remember all of the lies by the person that I placed the order with....
The conversation starts with the person asking how they may help me to which I respond: "lets see if you have any good offers that are not just limited time promotional offers?" as I am not interested in any gimmicks made to intice me into making a decision that is not permanent with the exceptions of normal increases in premium which are normal.
He replied that he could most certainly meet my request. That is where the lies just spilled from this persons mouth . This person proceded to tell me all of the great permanent deals that would be included in my package.
I would get everything this person quoted me for the next to the lowest priced package which I believe was somewhere around 45.95
I believe I was supposed to receive a DVR receiver totally free with no initial cost and no monthly cost at which I said no monthly cost ever!
the answer was: "yes sir!"
Secondly, I was to receive a second receiver with no initial cost as well as no monthly cost ever! I was just in awe!!
To make a long story short I received my first bill and found that ther was more features than I ordered, a larger package, and all of the free stuff promises where al a bunch of lies..
I called Direct TV customer service and told them what had happened and they told me there was nothing they could do about it (I signed the CONTRACT) when I accepted his offer.
I told them that if I was going to have to accept this the way it is then I will just cancell my subscription to which they said fine but it will cost you X number of dollars to break the contract regardless whether the representitve lied or not.
I did finally receive a little compensation but it was never made right. Sorry that was so long but just remember it could have been much longer I left out some of the other (whoppers) lies
