Loud volume on commercials

From time to time, on no particular channel in the commercial breaks, the volume increases. I don't feel Direct TV is adjusting the volume or are they?

This additional volume is not controlled with my
remote. If Direct TV has the power to do so, they would only broadcast at one volume level. This would make the many commercial breaks less intrusive.

Thanks, Terrence. This is what they wrote me, so you see, they did read my letter:

Thanks again for writing and for giving us an opportunity to respond to your concerns.

I emailed Direct TV about a "white noise" channel and actually got a response that indicated they really read my email. It is being sent on someone else, of course. But hey, maybe something will come of it.

Terrence comment: Hi Susan, glad to hear that. It might just an auto responder service; which means they have set a standard reply letter, say like:" Thanks you for email us, we will reply your email within next 3 working days.." - Something like this?

The reply letter will automatic trigger to their sender once they receive any email.( Software will done the job without require human action )

Anyway, Glad to hear from you.
