I agree with the post, Direct TV is going to receive a wake-up call in the next year or so. My service (under a 2 year contract) led my DVR to fail after 7 months.
They sent me a replacement (used junk one that doesn't perform well) and then sent me a bill for $22.00 shipping and handling.
When I called them on it, they said it was a "legitimate" charge. There is no excuse for "playing" customer's this way and after my contract ends.. they are history!
